Pittsburgh, United States, January 9, 2019 – PPG (NYSE: PPG) recently announced that it has reached a final agreement on the acquisition of the automobile coating manufacturer hemmelrath. After meeting the usual transaction conditions, the transaction is expected to be completed in the first half of 2019. The parties did not disclose the specific financial terms of the transaction

Hemmelrath's products are aimed at major automobile manufacturers around the world, and more than 7million vehicles use its coating products every year
